New Anti-Safety Inspection Legislation Introduced in New Hampshire and West Virginia

by Holly Miller | January 29, 2018 4:49 pm

Newly introduced Senate Bill (SB) 90 will repeal West Virginia’s vehicle safety inspection program which currently requires an annual inspection.

In New Hampshire, House Bill (HB) 1328 will change the annual inspection requirement to a biennial requirement.

These bills are the latest in a recent series of legislation designed to dismantle or weaken a state’s safety inspection program. ASA opposes both SB 90 and HB 1328. WV and NH repairers are encouraged to click here[1] to contact their state representatives in opposition of these bills.
